Day 2 — Ngano nga Kinahanglan Nato ang Manluluwas?

“Maayo man ko nga tawo. Wala man koy gipatay. Kinahanglan pa ba nako si Jesus?”
Romans 3:23 teaches that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Kitang tanan nagkinahanglan sa Iyang kalooy.
Sin is more than a serious crime. Makita usab kini sa bakak, garbo, kasina, pagdumot, ug sa pagpili sa atong gusto labaw sa kabubut-on sa Dios.

Romans 6:23 explains that sin leads to death, but God offers eternal life as a gift through Jesus Christ our Lord. Mao kini ang hinungdan nganong importante ang krus. We cannot erase our guilt through good behavior, religious activities, or personal achievements. We need the Savior who died for our sins and rose again.

Good works matter, but they cannot purchase forgiveness. Ang atong paglaum anaa kang Cristo, dili sa atong kaugalingong kaayo.
Imagine a sick person who refuses help because he does not want to admit he is sick. In the same way, pride can keep us from admitting our need for God.
Today, stop comparing yourself with others. Ask instead:
“Ginoo, unsa ang kinahanglan nakong ikumpisal ug talikdan?”
Come honestly. You do not need to pretend before the One who already knows you.
🔑 Key Truth
We need Jesus because we have all sinned, and salvation is God’s gift through Jesus Christ — not something we can earn through good works.
✋ Today’s Challenge
Stop comparing yourself with others. Come honestly to Jesus in repentance and faith. Ask God to reveal what you need to confess and surrender to Him.
🙏 Prayer
Amahan, among giangkon nga nakasala kami. Dili namo maluwas ang among kaugalingon. We place our trust in Jesus Christ, who died and rose again for us. Lead us into a new life of obedience. Amen.
